Innovation Crossroads helps Shift Thermal keep things cool

Mitchell Ishmael applied and was accepted into the Innovation Crossroads program with the goal of filling in the gaps to help jump-start the company he co-founded, Shift Thermal, formerly known as Active Energy Systems. He was among Innovation Crossroads’ first cohort of fellows, completing the two-year program in 2019.

Nth Cycle's Megan O'Connor was interviewed by the World Economic Forum's Radio Davos podcast about innovation for the recycling of mining waste. Nth Cycle was also promoted by the Federal Laboratory Consortium on World IP Day.

Teknovation covered Don DeRosa's participation in the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center's "In the Room" series. The Eonix founder was "in the hot seat," answering questions about entrepreneurship from Gera Grinberg.

ThermoVerse has advanced in the DOE Office of Technology Transitions Making Advanced Technology Commercialization Harmonized, or Lab MATCH, Prize. The company is pursuing the commercialization of its large area transactive cooling, heating and energy storage technology. Read more
